How it works:

You: request a personal career assessment by phone or e-mail.

We: provide you with an online code so you can complete the DISC Assessment, which will take you less than 30 minutes. The resulting Career Insights Report will help you gain a clear understanding of your personal style and the core values that motivate you professionally and personally, as well as defining your ideal work environment. The end result is a list of career options that fit well with your own unique style.

Step 2: Narrow Down Your Options

Career Solutions has developed a unique system for comparing career options so you can tell which ones offer you the best fit and opportunities.

How it works:

You: choose which careers you'd like us to research and rank.

We: research the careers suggested by your DISC Career Assessment as well as any other careers you are considering. We will rate each of them on several basic criteria: future outlook, income, and your own environmental preferences. The result is a Career Narrow-Down Report that ranks careers based on future opportunity as well as how well the careers fit you, so you can choose 3- 5 career options to research further.

Step 3: In-Depth Career Research

Career Solutions’ in-depth research service provides you with detailed reports on your top career choices to help you make an informed decision about your occupational pathway.

How it works:

You: choose 3-5 careers for us to do In-Depth Career Research Reports on.

We: conduct extensive research on the 3-5 careers you have chosen from the Narrow-Down Report, and provide you with a detailed In-Depth Career Report on each of these careers. We also provide you with a list of local or regional companies that employ people in these careers as well as contact information for trade organizations related to each career.

One additional step we highly recommend is to conduct informational interviews and job shadows with people already employed in the careers you’re considering, which we can help you to set up. The goal in this last step is to uncover firsthand knowledge on your top options before you choose a path.
